Our Commitment to the Environment

We are very committed to taking steps that will help protect and preserve our amazing planet. In fact, we were earth friendly when our doors first opened!

On our website, view our New Leaf Collection (an entire Collection dedicated to environmental protection!) and under Gift Type, look for our Earth Friendly section. When browsing our annual catalog look for gifts throughout our product lines that show our Green Leaf icon. With all of these selections, extra effort has gone towards creating a more earth-aware gift. Efforts include features such as reusable packaging (i.e. an insulated cooler, tote bag, or reusable mug) or minimal packaging, earth friendly cleaning supplies, inserts encouraging a greener lifestyle, etc. The toilet tissue and paper towels included in our gifts are eco-friendly products, which are FSC Certified and Green Seal Certified, respectively. Just as we have done from day one, your gifts will be shipped in recycled packing material and/or biodegradable shipping peanuts that dissolve in water. We encourage emailed invoices and correspondence. And the list goes on and on!

Behind the scenes, we also make big efforts to live conscientiously. Inspired 25 years ago by Telluride’s “Free Boxes” just off main street, we have our own set of Free Boxes in our breakroom. (One co-worker’s castaway is another’s treasure!) To conserve energy and reduce commuting, our Production Team works 4-day work weeks. Catalogs are being printed on thinner paper and in lower quantities. We choose printers with FSC Certified paper and chain-of-custody certifications. We do as much recycling as we possibly can, including cardboard, glass, plastic, aluminum, office paper, etc.

We are grateful every day for our amazing planet and want to do our part to protect it!
