Quarantine Touchpoints
Quarantine fatigue set in so long ago, it’s almost like we now have fatigue from quarantine fatigue. Vaccines for the general population are coming, but so are more variants of the virus. In other words, no matter how desperately weary we are of quarantine restrictions, they are with us for a bit more. Sounds like time for . . . a touchpoint!
Remember, a touchpoint is an opportunity to engage positively with a resident. Think of touchpoints as the “above and beyond” gestures that make your community a real community, not just a collection of housing. What could be a more appropriate touchpoint at this time than tangible evidence you care about your residents’ health?
A year ago, when the pandemic first hit, our design team swung into action. In record time, we had a collection of COVID-related gifts that helped lift moods with snacks and games while serving practical purposes like cleaning and sanitizing. We created an amazing collection, from door hangers to more elaborate gifts like our Safe & Sound, which touches all the bases with cleaning supplies, masks, puzzles, and snacks. Despite the time pressure, we cut no corners in creating these pandemic-related gifts and sacrificed none of the beautiful design, gentle humor, and straightforward utility for which our gifts are known. (You have to admit, it’s pretty genius how we came up with a way to hang a roll of toilet paper on a door, as in Just in Case.)
So, when you are ready to put that Q1 entertainment budget for now-canceled events to use before it lapses, just look under the “gift type” header on our website to find COVID-19 gifts. If you want still more choices, remember, any gift with a handle that can hang on a door is a COVID-friendly gift. May we suggest Start the Day, with its coffee, tea, notepad, and snacks?
