Can You Imagine sat down with one of our favorite local Property Managers and discussed the importance of being able to Shop By Price when it comes to Welcome gifts for residents.
Here she shares the reasons why it's such a big deal.

Q: Thanks for joining us! Let's get right into it...Why is it important to you as a Property Manager to stay on budget?
A: Hey there! You know how it goes – managing finances is crucial. So, when I shop by price point, it helps me keep a tight grip on the budget. No one wants to overspend and end up in a financial pickle. Shopping within specific price ranges ensures we're on track with our expenses.

Q: How do you gift for residents with different lease arrangements?
A: Our residents come from all walks of life, with various lease agreements and stay lengths. It's only fair that each one feels special and appreciated. Having a range of price points for welcome gifts allows me to cater to everyone's needs and make them feel included and valued.

I like that Can You Imagine has gifts ranging from under a dollar for some of those times when I want to blanket my whole community with a message...to those higher-dollar gifts that are better for special events and appreciation...to somewhere in the middle, you do a really good job of covering all price points.

Q: What about choosing specific gifts for specific residents? Is that a good idea?
A: I love adding a personal touch to everything we do here. I can handpick gifts that suit each resident's preferences by shopping based on price points. Some folks love practical goodies, while others adore something more unique or customized. This way, I can give each gift that personal, warm touch.

Q: Why is it important to be budget-minded when shopping for gifts?
A: We all know how important it is to make the most of what we've got. By considering different price points, I can use our resources wisely. If I save a bit on welcome gifts, we can use that extra money for other fun stuff, like hosting awesome events or making cool improvements to the property. It's all about being smart and resourceful!

Q: What is your favorite way to shop Can You Imagine's website?
A: Excellent question! Depending on what I am looking for, I always check out the Sale section first - you never know when new stuff is added...and I love a good bargain! Then, I'll either go to the Shop By Price menu, or I'll go to a specific Gift Type category (there are lots of options) and use the "Narrow It Down" filter to pinpoint the price point I'm looking for. It's super easy.

Q: Awesome! And what is your favorite budget-friendly gift?
A: That's tricky...there are so many great options! I'd say for a generally great gift that covers lots of different occasions, Wild Card Snacks is way up there on my list! It’s under $10. It’s a cute little colorful cube. And it’s filled with snacks and fun. My residents love the packaging and the contents are so great. It's been a favorite for a few years now! 

I will also say that your Door Hangers are such a fun and well-received way to communicate with my residents. There are literally so many options for every occasion. I buy in bulk and always have them on hand! Plus, they are super easy for my Maintenance team to hand-deliver. I love them!
