Perhaps you’ve asked that when you selected gifts you’d like to present and discover that you are asked to order in multiples of 12. You’ll see the same thing on gift after gift, for the most part, so we understand why you are curious.

Our shipping cartons are designed to accommodate a dozen of our lovely gifts – not too loosely, so they won’t slip around and get shopworn, and not too tightly, which might crumple their lovely bows. (We take bows, and appearances, very seriously here!) This way, our shipping charges are simple and uniform. It’s also a convenient number to have on hand. If you are ordering for a special occasion that involves multiple recipients, you might not be worried about storage. But for the gifts you keep on hand, it’s convenient to know at a glance how many you have. A few cartons of “just in case” gifts isn’t going to strain your storage capacity.

Twelve isn’t our only magic number, however. We tailor our shipping cartons to our customers’ needs. Consider our Wow collection, for example. These are among our most generous gifts, and we wanted to make sure you could keep them on hand without too big a financial investment, so we ship most of those – like Coffee ‘til Cocktails, with its luxe pair of insulated copper tumblers – in multiples of six.

Different minimum orders apply on smaller gifts like door hangers or promotional items, where imprinting dictates larger orders. And you are always welcome to order a smaller quantity of a gift – just be aware that you’ll pay the same shipping cost for a smaller number as you would for the full dozen.
